Over the weekend I saw a promo for Oprah’s Next Chapter.  She was set to interview Neil Patrick Harris and fiance David Burtka.  I know nothing of this couple, other than Doogie Howser looked exactly like one of my childhood friends.  Needless to say my interest was peaked.  Not only because I’m a closet interior designer and love to look inside peoples homes, but I was interested in hearing how a successful hollywood couple live day to day as an openly gay union.

I have to say I completely fell in love.  Their ease and confidence within themselves was, and is, incredibly intoxicating.  There is [for me] nothing more attractive and invigorating than watching couples (people in general) living authentic, grounded, inspired lives.  Although I wouldn’t necessarily say that their style of dress is what makes them a “style” couple, but rather their willingness to live no less than who they are supersedes any designer they can be dressed in.  Loved them!  xoxo
