We’ve been in London two days already. The city is amazing buzzing with people from all over the world. In the last couple of days we’ve must of walked 100 miles. Everything from Westminster Abby to Piccadilly Circus has been traipsed through. It’s been an amazing journey so far and I’m anxiously awaiting our continued legs.
The many hours of walking has me looking at footwear. The underground is the choice of travel and that makes for a lot of time standing. Flats shoes are a must, and even so, feet come out sore and swollen. When I was home I came across a great pair of slip ons. The d’Orsay flat made by California designer Jenni Kayne has to be my next get. Not only are they sophisticated, but they would handle the miles and miles of exploring. My great regret is that I didn’t purchase a pair before I came. xoxo
